Our scope of activities are based on repowering for several reasons.
By targeting locations with existing wind turbines, we are not only able to unlock sites with excellent wind resources, but also base our activities on sites with validated wind speeds, as the operational history of older turbines and collected anemometer data are used to confirm the sites' profitability.
Secondly, we utilize the existing infrastructure for grid connections and site access and therefore keep the time and cost of building new roads and grid connections to a minimum.
Lastly, our new turbines are constructed in locations where wind energy is already present, which minimizes the risk of public pushback or opposition and the time necessary to achieve permissions.
